We have the following linear equation for this problem:
y = (200/40) * x
Where,
x: time in hours
y: number of complaints
For y = 1 we have:
1 = (200/40) * x
x = 40/200
x = 1/5 hours
We consider the following conversion:
1h = 60 minutes
Applying the conversion:
x = (1/5) * (60)
x = 12 minutes
Answer:
It should take you to process to single claim about:
x = 12 minutes

As a billing specialist you are responsible to billing claims to the third-party payers. You find that a third-party payer is not reimbursing the clinician for an E/M service on the same day as a procedure.
