Mr. Aronsohn wants to rent a car on vacation. The rate the car rental company charges is $19 per day or any fraction thereof. How much would it cost for Mr. Aronsohn to rent a car for 6.4 days?

$19 per day and he wants the car for 6.4 days.

He has to pay for 7 days since any fraction of the day counts as another day.

Multiply 19 and 7.
(19)(7) = 133

It would cost $133 to rent a car for 6.4 days.

⇒ It charges $19 even if you are using for a min, an hour or a day for that day.

To rent a car for 6.4 days, Mr. Aronsohn will need to pay for 7 days.
