The formula for the area of a rhombus: (1/2) x diagonal 1 x diagonal 2
With this formula, we can input the values of the diagonals into the formula. A diagonal is a segment from a point of a polygon to another nonconsecutive point on the same polygon.

A = 1/2 x diagonal 1 x diagonal 2
A = 1/2 x 16 x 16
A = 8 x 16
A = 128 m squared
