If A is the number of unemployed people
168,000,000 is 94% of the population of Apexico

168,000,000/94=1,787,234 which is 1% of the population
1,787,234*6= 10,723,404 unemployed people live in Apexico

Answer:

10,723,404

Explanation:

6% of the population is unemployed. This means that 100-6 = 94% of the population is willing and able to work.

The number of people willing and able to work is 168,000,000; since this is 94% of the population, we divide by 94% to find out how large the entire population is:

168000000/0.94 = 178723404

Now we find 6% of this number:

178723404(0.06) = 10723404
