There are 3 more protons than electrons, so the net charge is +3. You can find this by doing 26+(-23)=3.

Hello!

There are 26 protons (+26)
There are 23 electrons( -23)

Add these together

26 + -23 = 3

The answer is +3

Hope this helps!
