We form relationship with others because we are made for relationships, in other words we are made for love.

[ Story Time ] Awhile back, I heard a story about how during the war, a lot of orphaned babies were taken to the United States. And so the people who were taking care of the babies, started to noticed that the babies were dying. They were confused because these babies are getting fed, they're getting the proper nutrition they need, they're getting all of their basic needs met, so why are they dying?!?" This condition is called Failure To Thrive. They soon realized that if they were to hold these babies against their chest for a couple of minutes each day, then these babies would recover tremendously. What they're doing is they're actually bonding and connecting with the baby. (this is called intimacy) TRUE STORY!

The moral of the story is that we need relationships because relationship with others help us understand love and intimacy. For without it, we will be lonely, we will become crazy, and will ultimately die. If you watched the Movie "Cast Away" you would understand how not having someone to socialize and talk to can turn someone crazy. (Watch the part where chuck was talking to a coconut , and you will understand exactly what I mean. Why do we form relationships? Well because there's something in us that desires love and intimacy. Why? Because we are made for it. I googled the word relationship, and it basically means having a connection. There's this type of relationship that is even more rare & powerful than romantic relationship, and it's called friendship. Friendship doesn't mean being friends with someone - I mean it's part of it, but it's more than that. I could ramble all day long, but this paragraph would be way to long, so there you go! If you want to learn more about it, I highly recommend watching this video called, "Bromance, Pizza, & Your Mom" - by Ascension Presents. Sounds wired, but trust me! You will learn SO much!!

In my opinion Most humans seek relationships because we are more or less “programmed” that way. Most of us like companions, romantic and fraternal. It is fun to share thoughts, ideas, and experiences with another of our species. It can be very rewarding. It can be painful, too. But, it is something that people spend a lot of time, energy, and money trying to achieve - good relationships. Then you have these people called gold diggers..... wait that is a different story, ;) Glad to help you have a awesome day !
