Hey there :)

We know the volume formula of a sphere is:

(4)/(3)
\pi (radius)³

We are given the radius = 16 in
And asked to use 3.14 for
\pi

Apply the formula
V =
(4)/(3) (3.14)(16)^3
=
(4)/(3) (3.14)(4096)
= 17,148.58667
≈ 17,148.59 in³

Your answer will be the first option

Volume =

(4)/(3) \pi {r}^(3) \\ = (4)/(3) * 3.14 * {16}^(3) \\ = 17148.59 \ {in}^(3)

The answer is the first option.

Hope this helps. - M
