I believe the answer is:
conditional positive regard.
conditional positive regard refers to a form of affection that is only given only if the person is giving something/fulfilling a certain requirement from another person. This type of relationship tend to put unfair pressure for one of the individual that tied in the relationship which often lead to pent up emotions.
