James has a face-to-face interview in a week. he asks a friend, martha, to conduct a mock interview with him so he can practice his answers and rehearse his success stories. during the mock interview, martha notices that james is slouching in his chair, sitting with his hands crossed in front of him, and avoiding eye contact. what feedback can martha give james to help him send positive nonverbal messages

Non-verbal communication is that which we transmit through our posture, gestures and even silence. In a job interview, it is very important to convey the correct messages through verbal and non-verbal communication. Martha could recommend to James that he feels firm but relaxed in the chair, that he does not cross his arms because this shows defensiveness, he should relax his arms. It is also very important that he makes eye contact with his interviewer, as this shows honesty.

I hope my answer can help you.
