The Poor People's Campaign was a campaign launched in November 1967 whose main goal was to obtain economic justice for lower class citizens in the United States. It was organized by Martin Luther King and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, but it was stopped because of the attack against King that ended his life in April 1968.

The Poor People's Campaign demanded economic and human rights improvement for poor people in American territory, with no distinction of race or ethnicity.
