1,500 ml is equal to 1.5 liters while 15,000 ml is 10.5 liters. 10.5 liters is way too much water for even a camping trip. So, the reasonable estimate for this is
1,500 ml.

1,500 millimeters is a more reasonable estimate for the amount of water in the canteen. This is because there are 1,500 millimeters in 1.5 liters. Therefore, 1,500 millimeters it the more reasonable estimate for the amount of water in the canteen.
