A rectangular field is (4x+6) long and (3x+4) wide how much greater is the length than the width

The length is (x - 2) longer than the width.

To find the answer, we just have to subtract the two binomials.

(4x + 6) - (3x + 4)
4x + 6 -3x - 4
x + 2
