1. The conflict in Jerusalem is mainly about land. For the Islam and Christian community, Jerusalem is a holy place. To the Islam community, Jerusalem is where Muhammad ascended, and to the Christians, it is where Jesus lived. For both it has holy significance and both are claiming it.

2. The cultural hearth of Christianity is Jerusalem. It is where Christ, was said to have lived. This is why Jerusalem is such an important place to Christians. According to the New Testament, Jerusalem was where Jesus was brought when he was a child.

3. Judaism, Islam and Christianity are similar in the aspect that they are all monotheistic, which means that they all believe in one God, or one Almighty. They believe that there is only one creator or one all-powerful being.

4.The Torah is to Judaism as the Koran is to Islam. The Koran or Qur'an or Quran, is the religious text of Islam. It is said to be the words of Allah as dictated to Muhammed through the angel Gabriel. The Torah on the other hand is the central reference of Judaism.
