It was that the crops were dying and they just wouldn’t grown properly or at all.There was not enough land and there were job shortages.More taxes and there was not enough food.So many came to the U.S because the economy was better and the government was better than where they were at.Some came for that purpose and some even cane for religious purposes aswell.I hoped this helped!
