Hello!

To find the lateral area of a cone you use the equation

A = \pi r \sqrt{ h^(2) + r^(2) }

A is area
r is radius
h is height

The radius is have the diameter

Put in the values you know

A= \pi 80 \sqrt{ 60^(2) + 80^(2) }

Square the numbers

A = \pi 80 √(3600+6400 )\

Add

A = \pi 80 √(10000)

Take the square root

A = \pi 80 * 100

Multiply 80 and 100

A = \pi 8000

Multiply

25133

The answer is
C)25133 m^(2)

Hope this helps!
