How can the polar jet stream influence weather if it dipped farther south over Florida? Explain.

The polar jet stream often plunges southward. When this happens, it can drive cold fronts to regions as far south as Florida. When the polar jet stream plunges south over the United States during the winter time, it is sure that some very cold weather will follow.  It changes condensation forms, causes strong storms, thus, transporting cold air.
