Find the slope of line AB first.

AB =
(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
AB =
(-1 - 1)/(1 - -4)
AB =
(-2)/(5)

We know that the slope of the line perpendicular should be opposite and reciprocal.

SO the answer is 5/2

Hope this helps :)
