The sales of lawn mowers t years after a particular model is introduced is given by the function y = 5500 In(9t+4)

y=5500 ㏑(9t+4)

Now , here y is the number of lawn movers sold , and t is the number of years.

Now the questions asks to find the number of lawn movers sold after 4 years

So we plug , t=4 in the function and solve for y

So

y=5500 ㏑(9t +4)

Plug t=4

y=5500 ㏑(9(4) +4)

y=5500 ㏑ (36 +4)

y=5500 ㏑(40)

Plug this in calculator

y=20288.837

y=20289

The sales of lawn mowers 4 years after is 20289
