Answer:

5x² − 6x + 4y + 9 z

Explanation:

5x^2 −1(6x − 4y) + 9z

You see the -1 in front of (6x-4y) that is actually there, it is just disguised as a - sign. When you take away the ()'s you must distribute this negative one to 6x and -4y.

-1 * 6x = -6x

-1 * -4y = 4y

so now we have 5x² - 6x + 4y + 9z*

*the + in front of 9z need not be changed we are only changing the stuff inside the ()'s

Please leave a thanks and rate this answer 5 stars, you don't need an acount to do this!

have a nice day!

You start with the parenthesis so ou have to distribute the minus.
It gives you 5x2 - 6x + 4y + 9z
Then you can do the first multiplication (I’m assuming it’s not the letter x by the 5)
So you end up with 10 - 6x + 4y + 9z
Hope that helps :)
