we know that
tan 40°=opposite side/adjacent side
opposite side----> the tall of the tower
adjacent side-----> 20 m
so
opposite side=adjacent side* tan 40°-----> 20*tan 40°-----> 16.78 m
the answer is
the tall of the tower is 16.78 m
