A girl has 3 shirts (red, yellow, blue) and 6 pairs of socks (red, blue, green, orange, white, black). What is the probability her socks and shirt will both be red?

3 shirts, 1 is red, so the probability of her picking a red shirt is 1/3

6 pairs of socks, 1 pair is red, so probability of picking red would be 1/6

the probability of picking both the red shirt and the red socks would be
1/3 * 1/6 = 1/18

The answer is D
