Percentile rank in the student score report that was provided by the College Board represents the percentage of students who score equal to or below the score the student obtained.

In addition, a student’s percentile rank indicate a comparison of student scores to two different reference populations. For example, one student score is in the 85th percentile, this means that 85 percent of a comparison group achieved scores at or below that student’s score.
