The best treatment for an adolescent who has a conduct disorder is talking to the client or listening to him or her, the clients’ needs care to increase self-esteem and accepting that behavioral changes are necessary. The client needs to be made conscious that he or she is an accepted person although a particular behavior may not be acceptable.
