The answer in that age the child expected to hop, jump, run and skip is three years old. Gross motor skills that a 5 year old preschooler possesses except manipulating a pencil. When it comes to child progress, there is a widespread range of normal. If younger children don’t have these skills yet, they should advance them by 3 years of age.
