1) Parents should drink responsibly around teens and children, or drink little to none. By drinking irresponsibly, It can teach teens to get into alcohol and other substances as a young adult/ late teen

2) Avoiding parties that you know will have people under the influence of alcohol or just avoiding places/ people that will try and pressure you to drink.

3) Some people drink alcohol or form an unhealthy addiction with alcohol to try and numb themselves, to try and escape their mind. at some point, this can become less of a reliever and more of a depressant.

4) Being under the influence of alcohol can cause many problems like Alcohol poisoning and things. It can also cause people to make irrational decisions like having one night stands or going home with someone they don't know, causing possibilities of catching STDs, HIV and all sorts of things like that. By avoiding alcohol, you can be fully aware of your surroundings and know what's going on, know what you're doing and make more rational decisions.
