In this study, Morgan discovered that students in private Catholic schools perform better academically than students in public schools, not because of the Catholic schools themselves, but because of the attitude of the students' parents. According to Morgan, parents who send their children to Catholic schools simply place more value on education. By this logic, the solution is not simply to send all children to Catholic schools, but to instead reframe parents' ideals toward education. So, Morgan would probably encourage parents (specifically those with children in public schools) to evaluate their attitude toward education and to improve such attitudes.
