A. Each of those ordered pairs works in the equation.

Solution:

we have been asked to find the solution of of the equation
y = 9x - 4

we can find the solution by just substituting the value of x and working out the value of y.

As there are infinite number of possible for this equation. So we will check each given option one by one.

A. (-5, -49), (-2, -22), (3, 23)

when x=-5,
y = 9*(-5) - 4=-45-4=-49

when x=-2,
y = 9*(-2) - 4=-18-4=-22

when x=3,
y = 9*(3) - 4=27-4=23

Hence Option A is correct.

By closely inspecting the other options we can see that the calculation result not matching with any. So rest of the options are not correct.
