Two figures are similar.

Explanation:

Clearly after looking at the figure we see that the Quadrilateral ABCD can be mapped onto quadrilateral EFGH with a :

1) Dilation.

( since the quadrilateral EFGH and quadrilateral ABCD are not of the same size.

Hence it need to be dilated by some scale factor)

2) Translation.

( Since the quadrilateral ABCD need to be shifted some units to the right and some units downward )

And the Figures are SIMILAR.

( Since two figures are said to be similar if by applying some translation and dilation one can be mapped onto another)
