In the 1800s, many in the United States specifically in the southwest area started to produce this plant. This plant has the vitamins A,D,E,K and C. It also has the vitamin B spectrum.This is also known as Lucerne which is a deep-rooted perennial pasture legume. Chloroplasts are the organelles found in the cells which are the food producers.
