Parentheses are important in problems involving more than one subtraction

For proving this we can take a word problem as an example.

Let we have to find out how much 8 is greater than the difference of 4 and 3.

The correct answer is 7.

Without Parentheses, our expression is 8 - 4 - 3= 8 - 7 = 1

With parenthesis , our expression is , 8 - ( 4 - 3)= 8 - 1 = 7

Thus, from the above example, we can say that if we do not use parenthesis( if it is required) in an subtraction then our result can be changed.

Which shows Parentheses is relevant in the case of subtraction.
