ANSWER:

James Dickey wrote a play in 1999 portraying the Leo Franck Case.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The Leo Franck Case was a well-known case that received a lot of media coverage.
  • The Leo Frank Case was related to Leo Max Frank who was convicted in '1913' for the murder of a '13-year old girl' named Mary Phagan.
  • Leo Frank was a factory superintendent who was convicted for the murder of Mary Phagan in Atlanta, Georgia where they worked at the "National Pencil Company".
  • Leo Frank was lynched in 1915 after he was 'kidnapped' from prison. This "lynching of Leo Frank" became a cause of terms of social, political as well as regional and racial.
  • It was later announced that Leo Frank was wrongly convicted in the case.
