What is the slope of the line passing through (−4, 9) and (3, −5)?

The slope would be -2.

This can be found by uding the formula y2 - y1/x2 - x1 (-5 - 9/ 3 - (-4)). Solving this would give you -14/7, which if you divide by 7 is -2/1 or -2.
