For this case we can make the following rule of three:
1/4 in ------> 32 ft
9.25 in ----> x
Clearing the value of x we have:
x = ((9.25) / (1/4)) * (32)
x = 1184 feet
Answer:
The length, in feet, of the current cruise ship is:
x = 1184 feet
