Answer:

The answer is option B : 67.5 gallons

Explanation:

A farmer normally mixes 1 ½ (1.5) gallons of pesticide solution with 5¼ (5.25) gallons of water for each acre of his fields.

1.5 gallons of pesticide per acre so for 45 acres, that would be
1.5*45 = 67.5 gallons of pesticide.

Now he also uses 5.25 gallons of water per acre, so for 45 acres
5.25*45 =236.5 gallons of water is used.

There is space left in the 350 gallon tank.
