A volcano in the approximate shape of a cone has a diameter of 16 km and a height of 1.95 km.

Which estimate best approximates the volume of the volcano?

Use 3.14 for pi and round to nearest whole number.

We are given

shape of volcano is conical

diameter=16km

so, radius=r=8km

height=h=1.95km

now, we can use volume formula

V=(1)/(3) \pi r^2 h

now, we can plug values

and we get

V=(1)/(3) \pi (8)^2 (1.95)

we can simplify it

and we get

V=130.69025km^3

so, approximate volume of volcano is 131 km^3.............Answer
