I believe the answer is:
Latent Content
Latent content is the hidden psychological meaning that exist in our dream.
According to Freud, every fragments that is used to construct our dream is originated from our unconscious thought. This become the reason why the emotion that we felt prior to our dream would most likely influence the theme in our dream for the night.
