Correct but they also found a baby mammoth that was preserved in the snow and ice. The scientists who analyzed the mammoth learned quite a bit about the genetics of mammoths and there relations to modern elephants

It was an ankylosaur. Shortly after hadrosaurs and the theropod cryolophosaurus.
