If 2 lemons cost 15 cents, how many can be bought with 60 cents

Hey there!

Divide 60 by 15. 60/15=4. So 60 cents is 4 times more than 15 cents. The same would happen with 2 lemons. There are 4 times more lemons that can be bought with 60 cents. 2 x 4=8. 8 lemons can be bought with 60 cents.

I hope this helps!

Hello!

Let's fine the cost of one lemon.

15 ÷ 2 = 7.5

Each lemon costs 7.5 cents.

60 ÷ 7.5 = 8

\rm 8 lemons can be bought with 60 cents.
