Can someone please please help me. Please?

George Washington read the Declaration of Independence to his troops. Imagine that moment. How did the men react? What emotions did Jefferson’s words inspire? Create a journal entry about this moment, written from a soldier’s point of view. When completed, submit your journal to your instructor.

Journal Entry: Declaration of Independence
July 5th,1776
General George Washington rode gallantly on his white horse with the reins in one hand and his book in the other. He ordered the soldiers to gather and once we did he spoke loud and clear the joyous words we had been waiting to all hear. It has been a good day and I am hopeful for what the day may bring tomorrow

A soldier came by and told us to assemble at the front of the camp. General Washington came riding up on his white horse with a book in his hand. He looked proud in that moment. Or at least from where I was standing in the back. He spoke loud and clear and when he finished many soldiers threw their hats in the and cheered. Today is a good day. I will see what's in store tomorrow.
