well we know that the same length and width of a rectangle is twice . this means that you can multiply the length and width by 2 to get the perimeter and add them . so by foiling you will have 2(3x+4) + 2(2x-1). you can solve this and simplify it to get 6x + 8 + 4x - 2 . simplify this more to get 10x + 6.

I'm a little confused because I do not see an answer on your question that says 10x + 6 . can you add a diagram, formatting, or more context if I am wrong?
