To have a point that doesn’t represent the data. An outlier is on a graph when I looks like it doesn’t represent the data very well and the line of best fit isn’t close to the point

An "outlier" in data is usually a piece of data that seems much out of the ordinary compared to other data, like a set having 2,3,1,2, and then 100. 100 would be the outlier. On a graph, it would either look much higher or much lower.
