Total price = 8 + 5 + 15 = $28
Sales Tax = $29.82 - $28 = $1.82
Sales Tax Rate = 1.82/28 x 100 = 6.5%
Answer: The Sales Tax Rate is 6.5%

Hey!
Sam paid a 6.5% Sales Tax.
Formula...
1.82/28.00= X/100
X= 6.5%
