Phosphoric acid or orthophosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) is triprotic acid, which means it lose three protons in chemical reaction (in reaction of esterification with alcohol) and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) is diprotic acid, which means it lost two protons in chemical reaction and does not have enough palce to bind alcohol.
