1: R= 4cm, h=14cm, volume outside of the sphere:
r^2=l^2-h^2
14-4=10cm
tanx=4/10
x=21.8 degrees
so tan(21.8)=r/14
Vsphere= 4/3 \pi r^3\\Vsphere=4/3\pi (4cm)^3\\Vsphere= 268.08cm^3\\Vcylinder= \pi (5.6)^2(14)/3=459.76 cm^3\\ 459.76cm^3-268.08cm^3=191.68cm^3 is the volume outside sphere.
r=5.6 cm
