The approximate volume is 360 cu. mi.

To find the volume, we multiply the length, width and depth:
120(20)(0.15) = 360

Solution:

we are given that

The palo duro canyon is 120 miles long, as much as 20 miles wide, and has a maximum depth of more than 0.15 mile.

we have been asked to find that the approximate volume of this canyon?

If we are given with the length, width and depth then we can find the volume using the formula

Volume=length*width*depth

Substitute the given values in the above formula we get
