osteoporosis reduces bone density and causes bones to become brittle. it is more common in geriatrics and people with calcium deficiencies. an accurate calcium supplementation can help reduce the risks of it and stop its progression.

Osteoporosis. The prefix "osteo" means bone, "poro" means porous/with holes, and "osis" is a suffix that denotes an abnormal condition or state of being.
