initial velocity, u = 16 m/s

Let it goes upto the distance of R.

Use the formula for the horizontal range.


R=(u^(2)Sin2\theta )/(g)

where, g be the acceleration due to gravity


R=(16^(2)Sin60 )/(9.8)

R = 22.62 m Thus, the ball goes upto a distance of 22.62 m.
