Read the passage.

They are alive and well somewhere,
The smallest sprout shows there is really no death,
And if ever there was it led forward life, and does not wait at the end to arrest it,
And ceas’d the moment life appear’d.
All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses,
And to die is different from what anyone supposed, and luckier.

What attitude toward the cycle of life is suggested by the passage from “Song of Myself” by Walt Whitman?

A. It is difficult, chaotic, and to be feared.

B. It is natural, positive, and moves us forward.

C. It is mysterious, frightening, and ends too soon.

D. It is stifling, traditional, and to be fought against.

Answer:

Explanation: In the passage of "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman, the attitude that gives us to understand is that the life cycle "Is natural, positive, and moves us forward". Given that in passage, it tells us that death can even be better than life and questions whether death really exists, if there is always life in everything that surrounds us. Therefore, the correct answer is B.
