If Jude eats 2/8 of an apple and has 4 other apples, how many apples does she have left?

She would have 4 3/4 apples left. This is because 2/8 of one apple is 6/8 and if you simplify that you would get 3/4 and since jude has 4 more apples the answer would be 4 3/4!
