For this question you will need to do conversions.

Remember that 1 yard = 36in so

3 * 36 = 108

And for ever 1 foot, there is 12in (look on a measuring tape if you have one). So for this you do

12 * 4 = 48

Now add the perimeter:


P=2(l+w)

2(108+48)

2(156) = 312

So the perimeter of this rectangle is 312in.

3 yards=9 feet
Perimeter= length * width
4 feet*9 feet= 36 feet
